New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) may win 399 out of a complete of 543 Lok Sabha seats, if elections are held now, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alone projected to win 342 seats, says India TV-CNX Opinion Poll. The opposition Congress-led I.N.D.I.A. bloc (minus Trinamool Congress) may win 94 seats, whereas others together with Trinamool Congress, YSRCP, BJD and independents may get the remaining 50 seats, says the opinion ballot projections.
Details of the opinion ballot have been telecast on the information channel in two phases, yesterday and right now. The opinion ballot was carried out in all 543 constituencies between March 1 and 30, and the overall variety of respondents was 1,79,190. These embrace 91,100 males and 88,090 females.
Party-wise seat predictions: BJP 342, Congress 38, Trinamool Congress 19, DMK 18, JD-U 14, TDP 12, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) 6, Samajwadi Party (SP) 3 and Others 91 seats.
