BJP Targets AAP Govt Amid Row Over Delhi Hospital’s ‘No Malayalam’ Order

Slamming the Delhi authorities over a hospital round that requested nursing workers to not converse in Malayalam at work, the BJP on Sunday stated this was ironical that it requested Kerala for oxygen when in want it throughout the Covid disaster and has now tried to grab its peoples’ proper to talk of their language with one another.

With the Delhi government-run G B Pant hospital now revoking the order and promising strict motion within the matter after a row erupted over its earlier round, BJP spokesperson Tom Vadakkan stated the “withdrawal in a haste clearly signifies now we have an anarchist state authorities for whom the Constitution of India and its acknowledged language don’t matter.”

He added, “It is an irony that when this government was in need of oxygen, the request was directed to Kerala and now comes their attempt to snatch their right to speak in Malayalam amongst each other.”

Globally, he stated, the biggest variety of nurses come from Kerala, and so they have served our nation as frontline staff together with docs and different paramedics.

They suffered casualties alongside too, Vadakkan stated, including that he was shocked on the “deafening silence” from the Kerala government on the matter.
