Addressing a digital media convention, Singh stated, “The ventilators which were termed as faulty could have been made operational by spending a mere amount of Rs 300. In Bikaner, 20 ventilators were made operational by our workers. Why other ventilators were not made functional a year back by the Congress government?”
People wouldn’t have died if the ventilators had been made useful. The Gehlot authorities needs to be held accountable for this, he added.
If the Central authorities can present a ventilator value Rs 4 lakh, why couldn’t the Gehlot authorities spend Rs 300 to enhance any of its elements. Operating and sustaining ventilators was part of state authorities and the Gehlot authorities’s loopholes at the moment are out within the public, he additional stated.
Singh alleged that the Central authorities allotted 453 MT oxygen however the state authorities couldn’t reap the advantages because it didn’t prepare for tankers.
