New Delhi: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi disclosed on Wednesday that he has been battling most cancers for the previous six months. Consequently, he has made the troublesome determination to withdraw from contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The announcement comes after widespread hypothesis earlier in February when the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its listing of candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections, and Sushil Modi’s title was conspicuously absent.
The chief penned down the message on the platform ‘X’, the message learn, “I have been battling cancer for the last 6 months. Now I feel that the time has come to tell people. I will not be able to do anything in the Lok Sabha elections. I have told everything to the PM. Always grateful and always dedicated to the country, Bihar and the party.”
