New Delhi: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait on Thursday (March 18) demanded COVID-19 vaccination for the farmers protesting on the Delhi borders towards the three contentious farm legal guidelines.
In an interplay with reporters, Tikait stated, “We demand that those who are protesting here should be given the COVID19 vaccine. I will also take the vaccine shot.”
He additionally stated that the farmers is not going to finish protests due to coronavirus concern. He added that the farmers will improve the scale of the tents on the protest websites so as to preserve social distancing. “This protest is for a trigger and we are going to proceed this until the legal guidelines are withdrawn,” IANS quoted him as saying.
