A six-year-old boy at Pallur village near Arakkonam in Ranipet district died of problems because of dengue on the Government Medical College Hospital in Chengalpattu on Saturday.
Health officers mentioned that B. Sachin, a category one scholar in a personal college in Kancheepuram, resided in Pallur village near Arakkonam. On February 12, he had fever. The dad and mom took him to a close-by non-public hospital and he returned house the identical day.

“Based on initial reports, it was confirmed that the cause of death was dengue. We have intensified the anti-mosquito drive in the district,” R. Manimaran, Deputy Director of Health Services (Ranipet), advised The Hindu.
This is the second loss of life in lower than a month because of dengue fever within the district since January 28 when a 14-year-boy from Arakkonam city died because of dengue. Following his loss of life, Public Health Department in Ranipet district launched an anti-mosquito drive, particularly in distant villages and congested neighbourhoods in large cities like Melvisharam, Arcot, Sholinghur and Arakkonam.
Around 350 mosquito breeding checkers have been deployed for door-to-door inspections. They have been assigned to test water stagnation and correct storage of water and waste disposal in homes and business institutions. Fogging operations are underneath method in large cities throughout the district.
