New Delhi: A Special CBI court docket in Mumbai on Friday (April 28) acquitted actor Sooraj Pancholi from fees of abetting suicide of actor Jiah Khan. During her deposition, Rabia Khan had informed the CBI court docket Pancholi used to topic Jiah Khan to bodily and verbal abuse. She additionally alleged the police and CBI had not collected authorized proof to show her daughter had dedicated suicide.
On the order of the Bombay High Court, the CBI took over the probe from the Maharashtra Police in July 2014.
