Former two-time Olympic silver medalist canoeist Nathan Baggaley and his youthful brother have been discovered responsible of plotting to smuggle 200 million Australian {dollars} ($150 million) value of cocaine into Australia.
The 45-year-old Baggaley and his 39-year-old brother Dru have been charged with trying to import 650 kilograms (1,430 kilos) of cocaine in 2018. After about eight hours of deliberating, a Brisbane Supreme Court jury discovered each males responsible on Thursday.
Nathan Baggaley received two canoeing silver medals on the 2004 Athens Olympics and in addition was a three-time world champion.
