Dwarkapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati handed away at the age of 99 in Madhya Pradesh`s Narsinghpur on Sunday. He died of a minor coronary heart assault and breathed his final at 3:50 within the ashram. The funeral of Shankaracharya ji will happen on Monday. Swami Swaroopanand, who was the Shankracharya of Dwarka, Sharda, and Jyotish Peeth, was not holding nicely for over a 12 months, he mentioned. He handed away at his Ashram within the Narsinghpur district round 3:30 PM, Swami Sadanand Maharaj, second-in-command (referred to as Dandi Swami) of the Dwarka Peeth, informed PTI.
The Shankaracharya was born as Pothiram Upadhyay in Dighori village within the Seoni district of Madhya Pradesh in 1924. He had left his house in pursuit of God at the age of 9. He was incarcerated through the freedom battle. He grew to become Shankracharya in 1981, his followers mentioned, including Shankaracharya’s 99th birthday was celebrated lately.
