The Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday late night foiled an infiltration bid alongside the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir and arrested a Pakistani intruder. Troops efficiently foiled an infiltration bid in Banglaid space of Samba district.
Police stated that this was the second infiltration try in the Samba sector in the previous fortnight. Earlier, an intruder was shot useless by BSF alongside the IB in the identical sector on May 5.
 “A Pakistani national was noticed attempting to sneak into this side from across the IB under the cover of darkness and was challenged by the Indian border guards,” an official stated.
He stated BSF fired a number of rounds, ensuing in a bullet harm to the intruder in his again.
The intruder was arrested and was being handled for the bullet harm at a BSF hospital, the official stated, including additional particulars are awaited.
