Border safety drive (BSF) troops in a single day foiled makes an attempt by Pakistan-controlled drones to drop arms and ammunition in Jammu and Kashmir’s Jammu district.

BSF sources mentioned, two unmanned aerial autos (UAVs) have been noticed by alert troops of the BSF on the Indian aspect of the border in the Arnia sector of the Jammu district on Saturday night.

“These UAVs have been noticed over Vikram and Jabowal border outposts in the Arnia sector.

“BSF troops fired round 15 rounds to drive these to withdraw again into Pakistan aspect of the border.

“The UAVs finally failed to drop their payload”, sources mentioned.

After the settlement of the DGMOs of the 2 nations to respect ceasefire on the border in letter and spirit, makes an attempt to use drones for airdropping of arms and ammunition for the terrorists have elevated, sources mentioned.
