Ghaziabad: A businessman was arrested in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad district in reference to a GST fraud price Rs 101 crores.

The Commissioner mentioned that the quantum of fraud and variety of corporations concerned are prone to go up as additional investigation is carried out.

The accused Vishal Khandelwal was initially not discovered throughout searches after which the officers issued summon to him. He appeared on Thursday (April 8) and recorded his assertion in which he admitted GST legal responsibility of the agency in query.

Following this, he was arrested on Friday below the CGST Act, 2017 and was produced earlier than the courtroom of Special CJM, Meerut who ordered for judicial custody.
