The Union Cabinet has accredited a hike in minimal help costs (MSPs) for 6 rabi crops.
The MSP of tilhan and mustard has been being elevated by Rs 200 per quintal, masoor by Rs 425 per quintal, wheat by Rs 150 per quintal, barley by 115 per quintal, sunflower by Rs 150 per quintal, and gram by 150 per quintal
The Union Cabinet on Wednesday, October 18, accredited a hike in minimal help costs (MSPs) for 6 rabi crops. The MSP of tilhan and mustard has been elevated by Rs 200 per quintal, masoor by Rs 425 per quintal, wheat by Rs 150 per quintal, barley by 115 per quintal, sunflower by Rs 150 per quintal, and gram by 105 per quintal.
Briefing in regards to the Cabinet selections at present, Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur stated, “The Modi government is committed to raise the farmers’ income by 1.5 times. The MSP for 6 rabi crops this year is higher as compared with last year… The MSP is hiked on the basis of CACP recommendation.”
