New Delhi, Feb 26 (IANS) Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was on Sunday arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) within the excise coverage rip-off matter after day-long questioning. Sisodia`s questioning started at round 11.10 a.m.
As per sources, he was requested about kickbacks which have been allegedly obtained to marketing campaign in Goa elections.
He was additionally confronted with the assertion of accused Dinesh Arora who has now turned approver.
Sisodia was additionally requested Hyderabad-based chartered accountant Butchibabu Gorantla, the previous CA of BRS chief Okay. Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister Okay. Chandrasekhar Rao. Gorantla was arrested by the CBI earlier this month.
