The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Thursday carried out searches at greater than 100 locations across India in reference to greater than 30 cases of bank fraud amounting to over Rs 3700 crore. It mentioned that CBI has been receiving a quantity of complaints from numerous Banks alleging dishonest, diversion of funds, submission of pretend/solid paperwork by totally different defaulting companies whereas acquiring loans/credit score amenities and many others. “There have been allegations that such firms have been turning defaulters resulting into the loans becoming Non Performing Assets(NPAs), thus causing heavy loss to the public sector banks.
