CBI questions Sachin Vaze, Param Bir Singh over corruption allegations

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday questioned arrested Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze, former police commissioner Param Bir Singh and two others in reference to the preliminary enquiry registered for the probe into allegations of corruption towards former house minister Anil Deshmukh. 

The probe company additionally grilled Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Sanjay Patil and requested Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Raju Bhujbal to get his assertion recorded within the night. 

Vaze, posted within the Crime Intelligence Unit of the Mumbai police, was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) in a case associated to the restoration of an explosives-laden sports activities utility automobile (SUV) close to Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani’s home in Mumbai on March 25 and the next killing of its proprietor, Mansukh Hiran.

The CBI began its preliminary enquiry into allegations of bribery towards Deshmukh on Tuesday on the orders of the excessive courtroom. The investigative company despatched a workforce of officers from Delhi to Mumbai to hold out the probe.
