CBI summons Anil Deshmukh in alleged Rs 100 corruption case

The CBI has known as former Maharashtra Home minister Anil Deshmukh for questioning on Wednesday (April 14) in reference to corruption allegations in opposition to him. In the eight-page letter, Singh had alleged that Deshmukh used to name cops to his official residence and provides them a “collection target” from bars, eating places and different institutions.

Allegations of Singh in opposition to Deshmukh and the Sachin Vaze episode have dented the picture of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) authorities in the state. Vaze was arrested by the NIA, which is probing the restoration of an explosives-laden car from exterior the south Mumbai residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani final month and in addition the alleged homicide of businessman Mansukh Hiran, the purported proprietor of that SUV.

Earlier on Sunday, the CBI questioned two private staffers of Deshmukh in reference to the case.
