Tamil actor and Padma Shri recipient Vivek handed away on Saturday at a personal hospital in Chennai on the age of 59. He was admitted to SIMS Hospital on Friday morning after exhibiting “acute coronary syndrome with cardiogenic shock”.
The actor’s premature demise has left everybody in shock and celebrities from each industries have come collectively to mourn his loss of life. Prominent names like AR Rahman, Sudhachandran, and Mohan Raja took to their respective social media handles to speak concerning the actor and specific their disbelief on the incident.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, too, expressed his condolences.
“The untimely demise of noted actor Vivek has left many saddened. His comic timing and intelligent dialogues entertained people. Also often known as ‘Chinna Kalaivaanar’, Vivek acquired a number of awards for his performances. In 2009, the actor was conferred with the Padma Shri.
