NEW DELHI: Hitting out on the BJP-led central authorities, senior advocate and former Congress chief, Kapil Sibal, on Saturday stated the Centre ‘overturned’ eight elected governments and that the tenth schedule has grow to be a “defectors’ paradise”. Claiming that the goverment had pitted itself in opposition to the residents, Sibal stated the tenth Schedule of the Constitution, which is meant to cease political defections motivated by the promise of workplace, materials benefits, or different comparable components, was being misused below the present regime.

Over Rs 1.7 crore in cash was recovered from his office,” Karnataka Lokayukta stated. Meanwhile, Congress leaders led by former chief minister Siddaramaiah, had been detained on Saturday by the police whereas taking out a protest march in opposition to the Karnataka authorities.
