Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday (March 23) targetted the BJP-led central government saying that it’s selling off its belongings to non-public fingers.

Addressing an election rally within the Purulia district, Banerjee additionally took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying his “factory of lies” will be the only factor that continues to be.

She claimed that the Centre is planning to unload the nationalised telecom agency and banks, nationwide provider Air India and state-run firms in different core sectors like defence manufacturing. 

“They (BJP government) are closing down all central concerns. Only one factory will be there, that of Narendra Modi’s lies and the BJP’s fraud,” Banerjee was quoted as saying by PTI.

Banerjee additionally alleged that the BJP has not fulfilled its guarantees made in its manifesto for the meeting elections in Assam and Tripura.

She claimed that BJP governments within the two northeastern states have rendered 1000’s of government staff jobless.

The TMC chief additional stated that she will “not let go of an inch of land without a fight”.

The West Bengal meeting elections will be carried out in eight phases from March 27.
