La Liga membership Real Madrid on Tuesday introduced that their star defender Raphael Varane has examined positive for coronavirus.
This comes as an enormous blow to the Spanish membership as they’re scheduled to play the primary leg of the Champions League quarter-final in opposition to Premier League aspect Liverpool on Wednesday, with the second leg slated to be performed on April 15.
“Real Madrid C. F. informs that our player Raphael Varane tested positive in the COVID-19 test he underwent this morning,” the membership mentioned in an announcement.
