Chhatrasal Brawl Case: Wrestler Sushil Kumar’s Bail Plea Rejected By Delhi Court

New Delhi: A day after wrestler Sushil Kumar, India’s double Olympic medallist in wrestling, moved an anticipatory bail plea, a Delhi Court on Tuesday rejected his bail utility within the Chhatrasal brawl case.

Kumar is dealing with allegations of involvement in homicide of a former worldwide wrestler, who died earlier this month.

According to reviews, Additional Sessions Judge Jadgish Kumar heard the contentions of each the prosecution and protection at size and reserved the order on the appliance.

Fearing arrest, the wrestler had moved the Rohini courtroom in Delhi on May 17 looking for anticipatory bail, asserting that the probe towards him is biased and that no accidents brought on are attributable to him.

Wrestler Sagar Rana died, whereas two of his buddies obtained injured, after they had been allegedly assaulted by Kumar and different wrestlers on May 4 evening, on the Chhatrasal Stadium premises within the nationwide capital.

Kumar is on the run since Rana’s dying and the police are making efforts to hint him by conducting raids within the Delhi-NCR area and neighbouring states.

After prilimary investigation, Police said that the brawl concerned Kumar, Ajay, Prince Dalal, Sonu, Sagar, Amit and others. Dalal, a resident of Jhajjar in Haryana, was held within the case.

KUmarOn Monday, the Delhi Police introduced a reward of Rs 1 lakh for any data on Kumar.
