With the petrol-diesel and LPG prices already digging pockets, the common man has now been hit with another blow as the CNG prices in Delhi and adjoining cities have been hiked by another 70 paise per kg.
The state-owned Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) has announced to incease prices of the compressed natural gas (CNG) and piped natural gas (PNG), “with effect from 6 am on March 2, 2021.”

As per the revised prices, CNG price in the national capital is now Rs 43.40 per kg while the new PNG price is Rs 28.41 per standard cubic meter (including VAT).
In a Tweet, IGL said “Revised CNG price in NCT of Delhi is Rs.43.40/- per kg; while revised PNG price is Rs.28.41/- per SCM (including VAT)”

Accordingly, the prices in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Fatehpur, Hamirpur, Muzzafarnagar, Shamli, Karnal, Kaithal and Rewari will increase by 70 paise per kg in the consumer prices of CNG.
CNG to cost Rs 49.08 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad, Rs 60.50 per kg in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur; Rs 57.25 per kg in Muzzafarnagar and Shamli; Rs 54.10 per kg in Rewari and Rs 51.38 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal.
A week ago, the oil marketing companies increase the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) domestic gas cylinder by Rs 25 per cylinder in Delhi. A 14.2 Kg gas cylinder which earlier costed Rs 769 in the national capital, will now cost Rs 794 in Delhi.
