New Delhi: The Congress social gathering launched the primary record of candidates for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on Friday. In the preliminary record, the social gathering has fielded 39 candidates, together with Rahul Gandhi from his present parliamentary constituency, Wayanad, and Shashi Tharoor from Thiruvananthapuram.
Former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel can be set to contest the LS Polls this time from the Rajnandgaon parliamentary constituency in Chhattisgarh. The social gathering in its first record has fielded 24 candidates from the SC, ST, OBS and minority classes and 15 candidates from the General class.
 5 feminine candidates have been named within the record together with Jyotsana Mahant from Korba in Chhhatisgarh and Geetha Shivrajkumar from Shimoga, Karnataka.
The social gathering has named candidates from the Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Assam, Meghalaya and one cadidate every from Lakshadweep, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.
