Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan slammed the Congress chief Kamal Nath, additionally the previous chief minister over his remarks on state authorities’s dealing with of coronavirus instances. News company ANI quoted the chief minister, as saying, “The Congress is preparing to set fire. Kamal Nath, will have to answer. Are you celebrating death? I want to ask Sonia Gandhi if she agrees with Kamal Nath’s fiery statement?” 

Kamal Nath had accused the state authorities of under-reporting COVID-related deaths and claimed that over one lakh individuals had died from the an infection in March and April throughout the state. “I have calculated myself, information of 26 districts were on newspaper and I gathered information from rest of the districts. In March and April, 1,27,000 bodies reached crematoriums. According to me, 80 per cent of them were of COVID victims,” the previous CM stated. 

An FIR has already been registered in opposition to the Congress chief for allegedly creating panic over the coronavirus pandemic by way of his remarks, a police official stated.  The case in opposition to him was registered based mostly on a criticism lodged by Bhopal BJP district president Sumeet Pachouri and two BJP MLAs- Vishwas Sarang and Rameshwar Sharma-, amongst others, he stated. 

In the criticism, the BJP leaders alleged that Nath had stated in his press convention at Ujjain on Saturday that, “Corona, which has spread in the world, is being known as the Indian variant of the virus.”Kamal Nath’s assertion at this second of disaster is creating confusion and defaming the nation internationally, the criticism stated, as reported by information company PTI
