New Delhi: The Congress Party has lodged an FIR for forgery towards Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President J.P. Nadda and saffron get together spokesperson Sambit Patra over the “fake” toolkit shared by the ruling get together on the Centre on “COVID-19 mismanagement” and “attributing it to AICC Research Department”.

Venting his ire over the BJP’s transfer to launch a purported Congress ‘toolkit’, Congress nationwide spokesperson Sunil Ahire stated the saffron get together “shamelessly concocts forgeries” as a substitute of offering aid “when our country is devastated by COVID”.

“BJP is propagating a fake “toolkit” on “COVID-19 mismanagement” & attributing it to AICC Research Department. We are submitting an FIR for forgery towards @jpnadda & @sambitswaraj When our nation is devastated by COVID, as a substitute of offering aid, BJP shamelessly concocts forgeries,” he tweeted sharing the copy of the FIR.

The Congress outburst got here as Patra earlier within the day launched a ‘Congress toolkit’, saying the grand previous get together needs to tarnish the picture of India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Sharing the pages on his Twitter account, Patra alleged the Congress ready a number of toolkits from day one to “tarnish India’s image” and stated the one intention is to defame and divert.

“Multiple Tool Kits were prepared by the Congress from Day 1 to tarnish the image of India. Sharing one such Kit on #CentralVistaProject Full of lies & deceit ..only aim of the tool kit is to defame & divert #CongressToolkitExposed,” he posted on the micro-blogging platform.

“Toolkits are not alien to the Congress and their eco-system. Infact, a substantial part of their energy goes into making them. Here is a toolkit on the Central Vista…they make one Toolkit of the other every week and when exposed, they “deny” it. #CongressToolkitExposed,” Patra stated in a sequence of tweets.

Nadda too lambasted the Congress over the toolkit and alleged the Congress is a grasp at “diving society and spewing venom against others”.

“Dividing society and spewing venom against others….Congress is a master at this. India is seeing Congress’ antics, while the nation is fighting COVID-19. I would urge Congress to go beyond ’Toolkit Models’ and do something constructive. #CongressToolkitExposed,” he tweeted.
