Delhi Police on Saturday mentioned {that a} copy of one of the 2 FIRs lodged towards outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh who’s accused of sexual harassment, has been handed over to the highest grapplers who’re protesting on the Jantar Mantar.
On Friday night, the police have registered the FIRs towards the WFI president in response to the allegations made by the ladies wrestlers.

However, the copy of the opposite FIR registered below the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act has not been given to the wrestlers as it is going to be given solely to the sufferer’s household, the police added.
The wrestlers, led by Vinesh Phogat, had reached the Connaught Place police station on Saturday morning.

Regarding the FIRs, Deputy Commissioner of Police, New Delhi, Pranav Tayal had mentioned: “The first one pertains to allegations levelled by a minor sufferer which is registered below the POCSO Act together with related IPC sections regarding outraging of modesty.
“The second FIR is registered for finishing up complete investigations into the complaints tendered by different, grownup complainants below related sections pertaining to outraging of modesty and so on.”
Investigation into both FIRs is being taken up in right earnest, the DCP had added.
