He slammed the western nations, Jaishankar highlighted that outdated habits die arduous. “They (Western countries) do want to influence us because many of these countries feel that they have influenced this world for the last 70–80 years…Western countries actually feel that they have influenced the world for the last 200 years. How do you expect someone who has been in that position to give up those old habits so easily,” the EAM mentioned on the occasion, reported ANI. 

According to him, the Indian voter would not share the Western media’s want for a selected “class of people” to regulate the nation, and they’re “disturbed” by this. He added that why does India obtain such a detrimental picture in these newspapers? Because of their notion, India doesn’t conform to their perfect of what India ought to actually be.
