COVID-19 crisis: Fresh restrictions in Tamil Nadu, know what will remain closed

New Delhi: The Tamil Nadu authorities on Saturday (April 24) introduced stringent measures in order to deal with the worrisome spike in COVID-19 instances. 

The lockdown-like restrictions will come into drive from 4 am on April 26. 

Here is an inventory of all that will be closed from Monday: 

1. Cinema halls, gyms, recreation golf equipment, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and comparable areas the place massive crowds can collect. 

2. Big format retailers, buying malls, supermarkets positioned in buying malls. 

3. Salons, spas, barbershops, magnificence parlours in Chennai and different cities, cities. 

4. Dine-in at motels, eating places, mess, tea stalls has been banned. 

5. Devotees will not be allowed at locations of worship, solely workers can carry out rituals. 

6. No temple features, even when permission was granted earlier. Only workers can conduct the occasion. No permission for brand spanking new occasions. 

7. No dine-in companies at motels, even for visitors staying there.
