COVID-19: Goa imposes night curfew and curbs, postpones board exams

Panaji: Goa imposed a 10-day-long night curfew within the state saying recent restrictions and curbs on eating places, cinema halls and casinos within the wake of rising COVID-19 circumstances, the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated after chairing a high-level assembly.

The curfew will likely be efficient from 10 pm to six am and will come into impact from Wednesday (April 21) and stay in operation until April 30.

The state authorities will evaluation the state of affairs and take a name on their extension, CM Sawant stated. The assembly was attended by Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and Revenue Minister Jeniffer Monserratte.
