Chandigarh: The Haryana authorities on Sunday stated the lockdown has been prolonged by one week until 5 am on May 31 in view of the COVID-19 state of affairs in the state.

“Although the positivity rate in the state has come down, the Mahamati Alert-Surakshit Haryana will continue to bring the same and the fatality rate down….it has been extended by one week till 5 am on May 31,” read the official order, in keeping with information company ANI.

However, some relaxations have been supplied with speedy impact, together with stand alone outlets being allowed to open throughout the day when the evening curfew shouldn’t be in operation.

Shops, apart from stand alone ones, are allowed to function from 7 am until 12 midday in two teams, particularly odd and even- outlets with odd numbers on odd dates and outlets with even numbers on even dates.

The order continued the restriction on opening up of malls.

Per week-long full lockdown was already imposed in Haryana until May 24 with impact from May 17. 

This had been in continuation of the primary lockdown imposed on May 3 for per week.
