COVID-19: Over 1.8 cr people vaccinated in Maharashtra so far

A complete of 1,80,88,042 people have so far acquired COVID-19 vaccine doses in Maharashtra, the state authorities mentioned on Monday.

On Sunday, 1,10,448 beneficiaries acquired the jabs in the state, it mentioned. According to an official assertion, 4,36,302 people aged between 18 and 44 years acquired the vaccine doses in the state until Sunday for the reason that inoculation drive for this age group started on May 1.

So far, 11,27,341 well being care staff have been administered the primary dose of the vaccine, whereas 6,68,901 of them have gotten their second dose.

Similarly, 15,04,578 frontline staff in the state have now acquired their first vaccine dose and of them, 6,19,622 acquired their second dose.

As per the assertion, a complete of 1,21,00,410 residents in the state have until now acquired their first vaccine dose and 20,67,190 have gotten their second dose.

Maharashtra Sunday reported 48,401 new circumstances of coronavirus and 572 fatalities, taking the an infection tally to 51,01,737 and the dying toll to 75,849, in keeping with the state well being division.
