“Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 2 of the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 and the powers, conferred under The Disaster Management Act, 2005, the undersigned, in his capacity as Chairperson, State Executive Committee, hereby extends all the restrictions that have been imposed vide ‘Break the Chain’ orders dated 13th April and 21st April 2021 along with all additions and clarifications issued thereof in the State till 7 AM on 15th May 15, 2021,” the order mentioned.

This comes as fatalities proceed to rise alarmingly in Maharashtra, which is the worst affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. Maharashtra witnessed the utmost casualties 1,035 within the final 24 hours adopted by Delhi with 368 every day deaths.
