Out of 35 functions, eight India internationals have been shortlisted for interviews, which included 4 males and 4 girls.
While the 4 male candidates have been interviewed on the day, the 4 feminine candidates Mamtha Maben, Devika Palshikar, former chairman of selectors Hemlatha Kala and Suman Sharma will likely be interviewed on Thursday.
“Four interviews were conducted today. All the four candidates came well prepared. The remaining four interviews will be conducted tomorrow,” CAC head Madan Lal advised PTI on Wednesday.
Two CAC members — Lal and Sulakshana Naik — have been current as RP Singh couldn’t be part of as his father died on Wednesday.
