The Indian Navy relief teams deployed at Odisha’s Balasore scaled up their efforts on Friday in coordination with the state authorities to offer help and render assist to the affected inhabitants in the inside and adjoining fishing villages of the district.
The neighborhood kitchen supplied over 1,500 cooked meals in fishing villages of Gokulur, Taliboral, Sirsapoda, Haripur, Bathrismania, Bodhigadiya, Nadchowk, Baulabani, Badadio, Balramgadi, and Dassipur.
Packed meals have been distributed with the assistance of the native Sarpanch on two-wheelers in absence of correct entry roads. Nearly 400 packets of meals provision and 300 clothes packets have been additionally distributed at Kassafal gram panchayat and Talasari village with help from native ex-servicemen.
Helicopters from the 4 naval ships anchored off Bhadrak’s Dhamra port have been additionally mobilised to produce 1,500 meals provision packets to the Indian Navy’s relief crew deployed at ITR Balasore for distribution.
