Dantewada naxal assault: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel visited Dantewada as we speak (April 27) to pay homage to 10 jawans of District Reserve Guard (DRG) who have been killed in a Naxal assault on Wednesday (April 26). Later, CM will hold a high-level meeting with senior officers of Bastar Police and security forces.
After the assault, Union Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to CM and took inventory of the state of affairs. In a telephonic dialog, the Home Minister additionally assured the Chhattisgarh CM that the Centre would give all doable assist to the state authorities.
On Wednesday after getting report of the Naxal assault, Baghel mentioned that the combat with Naxals is in its final stage and Naxals will not be spared.
“The sacrifice of our jawans will not go in vain. Action will be taken against the Naxals in the area. This incident will not affect our morale and we will continue our fight,” mentioned Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel.

Naxals will not be spared, mentioned CM.On the opposite hand, as per the police, the ten slain DRG personnel have been recognized as Joga Sodhi, Munna Ram Kadti, Santosh Tamo, Dulgo Mandavi, Lakhmu Markam, Joga Kavasi, Hariram Mandavi, Raju Ram Kartam, Jairam Podiyam, Jagdish Kavasi. In addition, the deceased driver has been recognized as Dhaniram Yadav, the police added.
