DC vs GT IPL 2023: Delhi Capitals are going through Gujarat Titans in the seventh match of IPL 2023 on the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi. The Titans are contemporary off a win in the tournament opener towards Chennai Super Kings and look to proceed their successful run. Meanwhile, they’re lacking Kane Williamson in the crew as David Miller has changed him. 

Why Kane Williamson is not playing?

GT batter Kane Williamson has been dominated out of IPL 2023 after struggling a knee harm in the tournament opener. Williamson bought injured whereas fielding in the primary innings of the match. The Titans confirmed the event lately. 

“We regret to announce, Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the TATA IPL 2023, after sustaining an injury in the season opener against Chennai Super Kings. We wish our Titan a speedy recovery and hope for his early return,” Titans had introduced on April 2.

Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya felt gutted after dropping Williamson and he said it on the toss forward of DC vs GT recreation. “We will bowl first. I am not sure how the wicket will play. Obviously we’re gutted after losing Kane. Especially for him. As a team we can manage, but gutted for him. Miller comes in for him. Sai Sudharsan comes in for Vijay Shankar. Not much talking in our team. We just want to keep things simple and focusing on controllables. Pitch looks fantastic here and dew might kick in later,” Pandya stated at toss.
