Air quality in Delhi is within the ‘reasonable’ class on Sunday morning. The air quality index (AQI) was 159 in response to the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR). The AQI will marginally deteriorate to the “Moderate to Poor category” on Monday and Tuesday.Â
“The general Delhi air quality is within the Moderate class as forecasted. Surface winds are excessive and southwesterly and forecasted to vary in path in direction of easterly.Â
AQI is forecasted to additional enhance and within the Moderate to Satisfactory class for March 7 and marginally deteriorate to Moderate to Poor class on 8 and March 9,” SAFAR mentioned in its bulletin.
The concentrations of the particulate matter (PM) with a diameter of 10 and a couple of.5 microns stood at 181 and 78, each falling below the ‘reasonable’ class respectively, as per SAFAR information.
