A Delhi court on Thursday refused to grant anticipatory bail to businessman Navneet Kalra in reference to the seizure of oxygen concentrators, required by COVID-19 sufferers, from his upscale eating places together with ‘Khan Chacha’ in the nationwide capital. “Application is dismissed,” Additional Session Judge Sandeep Garg stated.

During the proceedings, Public Prosecutor Atul Shrivastava had opposed the plea and advised the court that Kalra’s custodial interrogation is required and that bail shouldn’t be granted as he’s an influential individual.
“His intention was to cheat the public at large and wrongfully gain. Had Delhi Police not busted the racket, many people would have been cheated,” the general public prosecutor stated.
