Delhi: Doctor, nurse among 6 arrested for black-marketeering of Remdesivir injections
A 30-year-old Ayurvedic physician and a nurse have been among six folks arrested right here for alleged black-marketeering of antiviral drug Remdesivir, police mentioned on Tuesday.
According to police, the nurse, Lalitesh (24), was deployed within the COVID ward of a non-public hospital in south Delhi and would procure Remdesivir injections of COVID sufferers who bought discharged.

On Saturday, data was acquired that one Ashwani (32), who’s the safety supervisor at Sonia Hospital, Nangloi, was promoting the Remdesivir injection at inflated charges, police mentioned.
Delhi Police Crime Branch apprehended Ashwani with one Remdesivir injection. During interrogation, he disclosed that the injection was given to him by Parshant, a physician working on the hospital, they mentioned.
Later, a raid was carried out and Parshant was arrested. Four extra vials of Remdesivir injections have been seized from him, police mentioned.
