Delhi Liquor Policy Scam: Court Adjourns Hearing On Manish Sisodia’s Bail Plea Till April 5


New Delhi: A Delhi court docket on Saturday adjourned until April 5 the listening to on the bail plea of AAP chief Manish Sisodia, who has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money-laundering case arising out of the excise coverage matter. Special Judge MK Nagpal adjourned the listening to after Sisodia’s counsel sought time to answer the ED’s reply filed on his consumer’s bail plea. Sisodia’s counsel informed the court docket that he wanted a while to make detailed arguments within the matter.

On March 9, the ED arrested former Delhi deputy chief minister Sisodia on the Tihar jail, the place he was lodged in reference to a separate case being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The CBI arrested the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief on February 26 in reference to alleged corruption within the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped Delhi excise coverage for 2021-22.
