Covid In India: The Delhi Chief Minister has prolonged the lockdown for 1 extra week to maintain the Covid scenario below management.  The lockdown restrictions will proceed until 24th May, morning 5 AM.

“We are extending the lockdown for one more week. Instead of tomorrow, lockdown is extended till next Monday, 5 am in Delhi,” Kejriwal stated.

Restrictions will proceed to be efficient as earlier and Delhi Metro can be shut through the lockdown interval.

 Marriage ceremonies at public locations/ banquet halls/motels can be prohibited through the lockdown.

However, marriage ceremonies allowed to be organized at house or in Court.

 “We don’t want to lose the gain that we have made in the last few days. We are extending the lockdown for one more week. Instead of tomorrow, lockdown is extended till next Monday, 5 am in Delhi,” Kejriwal instructed the reporters.

The nationwide capital recorded 6,430 new COVID-19 circumstances and 337 fatalities on Saturday whereas the positivity price dipped to 11.32 per cent. The Delhi CM stated earlier that that circumstances within the capital are declining “slowly and steadily”.
