Delhi records maximum temperature of 39.8 degrees Celsius. 

 

The maximum temperature within the nationwide capital settled at 39.8 degrees Celsius on Thursday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) mentioned.

The Safdarjung Observatory, which supplies consultant knowledge for Delhi, recorded a minimal temperature of 29 degrees Celsius, a notch above regular, it mentioned.

The relative humidity was recorded at 47 per cent at 5.30 pm.

Delhi’s air high quality index (AQI) stood at 214 at 7.05 pm, in response to Central Pollution Control Board knowledge.

An AQI between zero and 50 is taken into account ‘good’, 51 and 100 ‘passable’, 101 and 200 ‘average’, 201 and 300 ‘poor’, 301 and 400 ‘very poor’, and 401 and 500 ‘extreme’.
