Traders’ body CTI on Saturday mentioned 65 per cent respondents in a survey conducted by it favoured extension of the continuing lockdown in Delhi in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Delhi authorities imposed a weeklong lockdown within the metropolis within the wake of steep rise in COVID constructive circumstances in April. After two extensions, the lockdown is scheduled to come to an finish at 5 AM on May 10.

About 315 of those 480 organisations mentioned that the lockdown in Delhi ought to be extended by one week. Two week extension was favoured by 60 organisations, mentioned a CTI assertion.
Nearly 100 organisations mentioned that the lockdown in Delhi ought to be lifted and merchants be allowed to open outlets and markets three days per week or on an odd-even foundation, it added.
