New Delhi: As Delhi is affected by a water disaster, AAP chief and DelhiĀ Minister Atishi Marlena wrote a letter to the Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora and urged him to deploy the police personnel throughout the foremost pipelines of the nationwide capital to guard it from miscreants.
In the letter to the commissioner, She requested police personnel to patrol and shield our main pipelines for the subsequent 15 days.
“To stop miscreants or people with ulterior motives from tampering with water pipelines which have now become Delhi’s lifelines. At this juncture, any foul play and sabotage will worsen the already difficult water shortage being faced by the people of Delhi,” stated within the letter, ANI reported.
She additional stated that the Delhi Jal Board has patrolling groups for our most important water distribution community which carries uncooked water to the Water Treatment Plants (WTPs) after which from our WTPs to our most important underground reservoirs in numerous elements of the town.
