In the Dewas City Assembly Constituency of Madhya Pradesh, Gayatri Raje Puar from the Bharatiya Janata Party has emerged victorious with 1,17,422 votes, securing a major lead of 26,956 votes over Pradeep Choudhary of the Indian National Congress, who bought 90,466 votes.

In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Gayatri Raje Puar from the Bharatiya Janata Party secured victory in Dewas by defeating Thakur Jaysingh of the Indian National Congress with a margin of 27,987 votes. The Dewas Assembly constituency is a part of the Dewas Lok Sabha constituency.
