Director General of Police (DGP) C. Sylendra Babu on Friday rewarded the Tiruvannamalai particular police crew at his workplace in Chennai for fixing the ATM heist that occurred on February 12 in the district.
According to a press launch, Mr. Babu handed over money reward of ₹one lakh to the top of the particular police crew, led by Tiruvannamalai SP Okay. Karthikeyan, in the presence of N. Kannan, IG (North zone), and M.S. Muthusamy, DIG (Vellore vary). Apart from Mr. Karthikeyan, the particular police crew comprised Vishveshwarya, Additional SP (Ranipet), Inspectors Solaman Raja, Pughal, Subramani, sub-inspectors Shabuddin and Nagendran, head constables Palanivel, Ellumalai, Saravanan and constables Mubarak, Kalaiarasan, Gunasekaran, Nagaraj and Prasanth.
The crew members got particular person certificates of appreciation for their good work by DGP, the discharge stated.
