Dia, who has worked in several Bollywood films, was earlier married to Sahil Sangha. The former couple, who tied the knot in 2014, parted ways in 2019. The ‘Dus’ actress had shared a post on Instagram to announce her separation from Sahil.
In her post, Dia mentioned that there was no bitterness between the two sides and they parted ways on a good note.
“After 11 years of sharing our lives and being together, we have mutually decided to separate. We remain friends and will continue to be there for each other with love and respect. While our journeys may lead us down different paths, we are forever grateful for the bond that we share with each other,” the actress said in a statement.
The ‘Sanju’ star had thanked her family and friends for their ‘love and understanding’. She has deleted the post from her official Instagram handle.
On the professional front, Dia Mirza was last seen in Anubhav Sinha’s ‘Thappad’. The film starred Taapsee Pannu in a lead role.
The former Miss Asia Pacific International will share screen-space with veteran actor Nagarjuna in ‘Wild Dog’. The upcoming Telugu film also stars Saiyami Kher and Atul Kulkarni.
