DMK releases party manifesto for Tamil Nadu assembly elections 2021, promises reduction in petrol prices

Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) president MK Stalin on Saturday (March 13) releases his party’s manifesto on the DMK headquarters Anna Arivalayam in the capital metropolis.

The party’s manifesto promises a reduction in petrol and diesel prices by Rs 5  and Rs 4 per litre respectively. Additionally, the party may also present a subsidy of Rs 100 on LPG fuel cylinder. 

Earlier, on Friday DMK had launched their party’s candidates record throughout a press convention, forward of upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections scheduled to be held in a single section. 

The record revealed that DMK chief, MK Stalin will contest from Kolathur, whereas his son, Udhayanidhi will battle from Chepauk-Triplicane.

Exuding confidence of a profitable ballot present, Stalin stated the record launched by him as we speak was not merely that of candidates however a “success list.” “It should be presumed Kalaignar (Karunanidhi) is contesting,” he stated concerning the polls that will be the primary full Assembly elections to be held in the absence of each Karunanidhi and his rival, the late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.

The assembly elections for 234 assembly seats in Tamil Nadu will probably be performed in one section on April 6. The counting of votes is slated for May 2.
