New Delhi’s air high quality worsened, prompting the non permanent closure of colleges within the capital. The Central Pollution Control Board reported Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) as 468 on Friday at 4 PM. This concern about deteriorating air high quality extends past Delhi to its neighboring areas. Today Gurugram’s AQI was 367, whereas Faridabad’s was 460. Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, recorded an AQI of 410, and Noida had a staggering AQI of 494. The worrying development of air air pollution is not restricted to Delhi’s borders however extends to the National Capital Region (NCR) that features Gurugram, Faridabad in Haryana, and Noida, Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The National Green Tribunal (NGT) has expressed considerations over the escalating air pollution in Delhi-NCR, emphasizing the necessity for a complete investigation into all features contributing to the deteriorating air high quality within the area. Reports from Zee Media correspondents overlaying varied areas like Delhi, Gurugram, and Noida underscore that air pollution is not solely Delhi’s downside; it impacts Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab as properly.
According to AQI.in, Sonipat in Haryana was essentially the most polluted metropolis globally, with an AQI of 677, adopted intently by Delhi at 639, as of midnight. Five Haryana cities ranked within the prime 10 most polluted cities on the earth. Faridabad had an AQI of 591, Rohtak 503, Gurugram 416, making it evident that the air pollution disaster is not remoted to Delhi but in addition impacts areas inside NCR, stressing the collective accountability to deal with this concern.
